Old bonsai pot enamelled in green "oribe", oval, ideal for maples, from the renowned Koyo house, in Tokoname. Koyo Seal, Aiba Kouchirou + Fuyo - En, the Omiya nursery that commissioned the work. Repaired with metallic paint imitating Kintsugi (gold).

Handmade pot by Aiba Kouichirou born in 1944, the son of a potter whose family had specialized in plant pots and tableware, the kiln founded by his grandfather. In the early 1970s Aiba Kouichirou built a new kiln, changed the name to Koyo Toen, and began making bonsai pots. This kiln was known as "The Kouyou Pottery Garden" based in Tokoname
