Rectangular bonsai pot from the renowned Tokoname Izumi-Ya kiln, by the author known in Europe as Zenigo.
Izumi-Ya is one of the oldest kilns in Japan, they make bonsai pots in Tokoname from Matsushita Masuhisa, father of Matsushita Masuo (Zenigo), they produced pots by hand. The term Zenigo is possibly a bad transcription being more correct Senshirinsei, although in Europe the use of the name Zenigo was generalized.
