PLIERS AND WIRE CUTTERS
Since one of the basic bonsai techniques is wiring, we need tools suitable for this use, such as specific wire cutters that allow us to cut the wires with great precision without damaging the bark of our trees.
You can choose between several models, some with a pincer shape, very versatile, as they allow you to cut almost any thickness of the ones used, or more comfortable and precise scissors, but the latter are only used for fine gauges when you are wiring the final part of the branches, you can carry them constantly in your hand when you are refining a tree.
A long pliers is also very useful for this process, which makes it easier to bend the wire (especially the thicker gauges that are difficult to handle) by making the twists with a flick of the wrist without resting it hard on the branches, as this could damage them. It is also a tool used to peel the bark off branches to form dead wood in the form of jin, and to work dry branches so that they appear to have broken naturally.
The pliers are indispensable for anchoring the trees to the pot during repotting, as with this tool you can tighten them well and ensure that the bonsai does not move, thus facilitating rooting.
